At Quixotic Charters we believe the destinations should be left up to you. This is your dream trip and we are here to help it become just that. After all, there are over 330 islands in Fiji to discover and QUIXOTIC can sail anywhere in Fiji!

Before you arrive we can discuss a general itinerary but the exact course will be charted upon your arrival at the yacht after discussing your desires, preferences and with due consideration to weather forecasts. ​

With that in mind, here are just a few of the beautiful islands we can sail to in remote Fiji:

Mamanuca Islands
Sail and explore pristine sandbars, white sand beaches, sacred uninhabited islands and even visit Monuriki (Castaway Island) to re-live the movie scenes!

Longer charters can explore spectacular uninhabited Navadra en route to/from the Yasawa Islands!

Yasawa Islands
Set sail to the more remote Yasawa islands with long stretches of white sand beaches, towering mountains, pristine reef systems, secluded anchorages, and caves. After an invigorating sail through the islands, launch the kayak or SUP and find your own private beach or favorite coral patch. From May - October don't miss a snorkel or dive with the resident Manta Rays!

Taveuni Island
Another starting point for your charter is Taveuni Island. Scheduled, daily flight service is available from Nadi and Suva into Matei Airport on Taveuni.

A destination in itself, Taveuni, known as the "Garden Isle", is an excellent sailing destination and ideal base for land and water exploration. Dive the world famous Rainbow Reef and Great White Wall (noted in the 'Top 10 Dive Locations in the World' by U.S. Divers magazine). Hike to magnificent waterfalls; Straddle the international dateline; Kiteboard at Matei Point; Enjoy friendly and relaxed Paradise Resort; Taveuni has it all!
Matagi Island
If you've been dreaming of a private, pristine bay surrounded by lush green jungle foliage while floating over healthy coral set under bright blue turqoise water, then Matagi is for you. Get out the kayak and SUP, jump in for a snorkel, and perhaps lounge on the white sand beach. Matagi is a special place.

Rabi Island
If you were to describe the most idyllic tropical bay, you would be describing Albert Cove on Rabi Island. Turquoise water over vibrant corals with a white sand beach, volcanic rock outcroppings poking out of lush jungle with swaying palms and a couple of palm-thatch huts in the middle to complete the tropical picture. Rabi Island is a place that time never reached and the few native islanders live a simple subsistence lifestyle here. Kayak the bay, head out on the SUP, snorkel the reef, or if you're lucky, ride that elusive northern reef break. Rabi is a special place where you may want to spend more than one night soaking in the beauty and serenity of this picturesque bay.

Ringgold Islands
If you've been dreaming of having an island to yourself with absolute privacy and only the sounds of crashing waves then this is your place. Snorkel pristine coral, take a guided hike of the crater, visit the friendly village or just swing in the hammock with your favorite drink.

Bay of Islands, Vanua Balavu, Lau
If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience then Vanua Balavu is your destination of choice. There are no resorts on the island and one commercial flight per week that lands on a grass airstrip or a charter plane can be arranged. The only people lucky enough to enjoy this unspoiled paradise arrive on private yachts, and there are only a few yachts that venture out this far. Lucky for you, QUIXOTIC is one of them!

Words or pictures cannot express the beauty and magic of this special place. You have to experience it for yourself. The diving is amazing, the kayak exploration incredible, the hiking invigorating, and the walu fishing is excellent!
